With another new year upon us you have a thousand things on your plate so it’s quite likely that the last thing on your mind is updating the year in your website’s footer. Fortunately if you’re using an Out the Box WordPress theme you don’t have to!
All of our themes give you the option to add a tag to your footer text that will automatically display the current year so you can rest easy knowing that while you’re ringing in the new year so is your website’s footer 🥳
If you’re already using one of our Premium themes you’ll find this functionality by navigating to Appearance > Customize > Footer and editing the Copyright Text field.
